Los Angeles Pride 2026: dates, lineup and parade

Los Angeles Pride returns in 2026 for its 56th annual celebration, bringing thousands of people together in the heart of Hollywood to march, dance, and keep pushing forward. Everyone is invited for this colorful celebration that culminates at the LA Pride parade on June 14, 2026!

A March with Purpose

The LA Pride Parade steps off on Sunday, June 14, right in the heart of Hollywood, running along Hollywood Boulevard between Highland and Cahuenga. Expect an explosion of color, creativity, and community as floats, performers, and activists take over the street in true LA style.

Grand Marshals for 2026 are still TBA, but the past few years have included LGBTQ+ Hollywood actors, Broadway performers, and content creators. Their stories reflect the spirit of this year’s message of resilience, visibility, and love in every form.

LA Pride Village: The Party Continues

Once the parade wraps up, the celebration keeps going at LA Pride Village, a sprawling free street festival that runs adjacent to the parade route from Argyle to Bronson on Hollywood Boulevard. The festival kicks off around 11:00 AM and runs into the early evening, featuring two stages with live entertainment, dance parties, and special programming throughout the day.

More than 80 local vendors and nonprofits will be on hand with booths and giveaways. You'll also find two full-service bars, dozens of food trucks, and activations from sponsors with everything from games and photo ops to exclusive merch. It’s a mix of everything that makes LA great — culture, creativity, and community.

Ballroom Battle & "Bring the T" Art Exhibition

Expected to the back for the fourth year is LA Pride’s iconic Ballroom Battle, bringing the house down with fierce performances from legendary houses like Miyake Mugler, Ninja, and Gorgeous Gucci. This voguing competition is a celebration of the Black and Brown queer creativity that birthed the ballroom scene. It takes place right in Pride Village in front of a panel of celebrity judges.

“Bring the T,” meanwhile, is a curated art exhibition that centers trans voices. Through visual art, installation, and multimedia, trans artists explore what the letter “T” means to them, from visibility and erasure to activism and strength. It’s a powerful reminder of how Pride must always include and uplift the trans community.

History of Los Angeles Pride

Los Angeles Pride began with the very first permitted pride parade in the world, organized by Christopher Street West (CSW) on June 28, 1970. This inaugural parade was a response to and a commemoration of the Stonewall Rebellion, which took place a year earlier in New York City. This event set the stage for annual celebrations that have continuously advocated for LGBTQ+ rights and progressive political change over the decades.
